About GTN-Q and this Website

This website provides information on the Groupe de travail sur les normes du Québec (GTN-Québec), the work group in charge of defining and implementing the Normetic application profile.

The mission of GTN-Québec is to provide the educational community with an expertise in the area of e-learning object standards, in order to promote the creation and enrichment of an educational heritage for Québec’s education community as well as that of the Francophonie. GTN-Québec has to propose and implement means to ensure that educational resources are accessible, perennial and reusable, in order to be available and shared in an increased number.

The website contains information on GTN-Québec’s historical background, its objectives, mission, operational strategy, action plan, main activities and partners, as well as governance information (organisation, roles and responsibilities, membership, committees…).

It also includes reference documents on GTN three-year strategy (2006-2009) and action plan for 2006-2007.
